About Us in 2025

Welcome to the World Science DAO — a bold, decentralised ecosystem of effective altruism designed to re-imagine how science is funded, coordinated, and shared in the 21st century. At the heart of our mission lies a conviction that the future of discovery demands novel organisational models: one where researchers, developers, philanthropists and citizens collaborate on a level playing field, empowered by blockchain, open-source platforms, and transparent governance. About Us in 2025

Our ecosystem is built around three complementary and interconnected projects: AIIM (AI Internet-Meritocracy), Grants Science, and XML Boiler. While each addresses a distinct challenge in the global science & funding stack, the spotlight is on AIIM — because we believe that unleashing a new wave of AI-driven discovery is the key to unlocking transformative breakthroughs in mathematics, cryptography, blockchain, and beyond.

Our flagship: AIIM

AIIM (a philanthropic money distribution system designed specifically as science-first one) is the main engine of the Science DAO ecosystem. It is an open platform tailored to support the full lifecycle of innovation: ideation, funding, development, deployment, and impact-measurement. With AIIM we bring together:

  • AI-powered matching between marketers and research/development teams (so that the right resources meet the right ideas at the right time).
  • Tokenised governance: contributors, reviewers, domain experts and donors will participate in an on-chain merit-based reputation system — all anchored in transparency.
  • Open innovation network: built to bridge mathematicians, blockchain engineers, AI researchers and community-driven investors, so that previously siloed specialists become collaborators.
About Us in 2025

AIIM is the fulcrum of the ecosystem because we recognise that future-facing science won’t happen in traditional grant silos. Instead, breakthroughs will emerge at the convergence of disciplines — and will require flexible platforms, sovereign infrastructure and reputation-driven incentives. With AIIM, we’re offering exactly that.

Grants Science

Grants Science serves as our another philanthropic and grant-making arm. It is designed to elevate the way we allocate funding across global science—cutting bureaucratic drag, enabling micro- and macro-grants, and, like AIIM, ensuring that even “non-traditional” innovators (for example independent mathematicians, blockchain practitioners, or citizen-scientists) have access to support.
Through Grants Science we:

  • Design open call programmes with transparent criteria and published outcomes.
  • Enable dashboard-driven tracking of funded projects (so donors can see impact, not just announcements).
  • Embed a feedback loop into the ecosystem: funded teams feed back into AIIM, contribute modules and tools, and become part of the reputation graph.

XML Boiler

XML Boiler is the third pillar: a powerful software library and toolkit that enables standardised metadata, interoperability and open-schema publishing for research outputs, grant reports, blockchain projects and open-source modules.
By deploying XML Boiler we:

  • Promote machine-readable metadata across the ecosystem (so that research artifacts, reports, and code packages integrate easily).
  • Enable transparent auditability of project flows, from schema registration through to deployment and outcome publication.
  • Offer developers an open-source SDK to embed automatic documentation, meta-tagging and schema-compliance in their workflows—accelerating adoption, citation and reuse.

Another purpose of XML Boiler is to allow large-scale global collaboration for creating an entirely new scriptable XML format that will replace both HTML and LaTeX in the future.

Why we exist

The era of siloed science, closed-peer-review systems and uni-directional grant flows is ending. At Science DAO we believe in a future where:

  • Researchers are not passive recipients of funding, but active contributors in a reputation-driven ecosystem.
  • Funding flows are dynamic, transparent and aligned with measurable impact (not just prestige).
  • Infrastructure is open, composable and built for scale: from blockchain canisters and package managers to AI workflows and interoperable schemas.
  • Cross-disciplinary convergence is the norm — which is why mathematicians, relativists, blockchain architects and AI experts all have a seat at the table.

Join us

We invite you — whether you’re a researcher, developer, funder or citizen-innovator — to become part of the Science DAO movement.

  • If you’ve got an idea that bridges mathematics, AI and decentralised systems, if you’re a funder interested in catalytic science and global impact,
    • dive into AIIM and
    • Grants Science
  • If you’re building tools, codebases or research platforms, integrate XML Boiler and join our open-schema ecosystem.

Together, we will build a new foundation for scientific discovery — one built on transparency, collaboration and innovation at scale.

Welcome to the future of science.
