How general donations are allocated
Default allocation: unless you request another use, third-party donations made through this general donation page support the next AIIM adversarial-testing milestone. This includes the development, infrastructure, reviewer and participant recruitment, outreach, and operating work necessary to reach, run, and evaluate the test.
If you want your donation restricted to another Science DAO project or purpose, state that restriction when donating or contact us.
Your donation does not require assuming that AIIM is already proven. It helps generate the evidence needed to determine what works, what fails, and what should be changed.
Why AIIM is worth testing
Conventional research funding is usually organized around grant calls, institutional eligibility rules, expert panels, and fixed review cycles. These mechanisms can work well, but they can also leave independent, interdisciplinary, or unconventional contributors with fewer paths to support.
AIIM is designed to explore another approach: AI-assisted evaluation of documented contributions, open review, and auditable payment records, with the goal of making funding more continuous and accessible beyond conventional affiliations. Research status
AIIM is an experimental funding system. AI-generated evaluations are heuristic judgments rather than validated measurements of causal scientific or economic impact and may contain errors or biases. Payments depend on available funds and eligibility requirements. Decentralized governance and non-custodial components remain under development. That uncertainty is why public testing, external criticism, and auditable evidence are central to the project.
