- Governance: Science DAO is not currently operating as a DAO; migration to an ICP SNS is planned.
- Current legal/administrative controller of donations: Victor Porton’s Foundation.

This snapshot summarizes the disclosures below rather than replacing them. Detailed transaction records, limitations, conflict-of-interest disclosure, product status, and repository links remain available on this page.
For journalists and editors, see the Press & Media Kit, which summarizes the current project status and links back to these primary disclosures.
It is currently not a DAO. It was a DAO, but DAO broke due to an upstream problem. We are working on making it all controlled by a DAO again, with a better DAO (ICP blockchain SNS), but it will take a considerable time to make an SNS.
Victor Porton’s Foundation — the nonprofit entity that currently receives and controls donations for the project. Before any future DAO governance is introduced, the Foundation retains legal and administrative control over donated funds. Any future governance transition will require separate implementation and disclosure.
Current bank account (Wise) balance: $0.
Current product status: operational beta; internally tested. Independent validation is still pending.

Planned experiments:
- The Adversarial Testing of AIIM
- Rewrite it as a fully on-chain ICP blockchain app, for non-custodial wallets.
Limitations:
- Currently based on off-chain Node.js/PostgreSQL code to control blockchain private keys and transfers.
- Uses “subjective” AI’s judgement to assign grant sizes.

Conflict of interest: Victor Porton is the primary developer. He may also be eligible to receive funding through the developed system under the same published eligibility and evaluation rules as other users; this creates a conflict of interest that should be disclosed and independently scrutinized.
Help Turn AIIM’s Beta into Evidence
AIIM remains experimental. The next proposed milestone is a five-month public adversarial test, with $1,000 planned for distribution to eligible funding recipients. Donations support the work required to run and evaluate that test.
Fund the public test → Test proposal → Independent review →
AI-generated evaluations can contain factual errors or biases; decentralized governance and non-custodial components remain under development. Public testing, auditability, and external criticism remain part of the project.
