AIIM was programmed to only reward people who have new developments in last 3 months.
I thought, that I should possibly interrupt my further development of ordered semicategory actions (ordered semicategory actions is a math abstraction, that I discovered in 2019), because:
- This way, doing this in the future, I would simplify my task to have some development in the future, to fill this 3-month threshold.
- Doing math research now may be nearly useless for the society, because AI is seemingly taking over.
I realized, that this is a mis-design of AIIM and changed it to stop rewarding a researcher only when he can’t prove he/she is alive, using a KYC service. This way also has the deficiency, that it keeps paying salaries to people who already stopped their job. But that may be not a so big deficiency, because researchers and open source developers are motivated not only by a possible salary, but also by intrinsic motivations.
So, no requirement to have recent works to keep being rewarded. But need to regularly prove that you are alive.
Well, the question whether the AI soon will build math theories still has no sure answer. Today I tried to make ChatGPT Work rewrite my math book using the new concept of ordered semicategory actions, so unifying together my older concepts of funcoids and reloids. I have a mixed feeling about ChatGPT’s output. It didn’t do a complete nonsense, but as I found from the beginning part of its rewrite, it:
- did not do exactly what I said, namely introduced “intersection-symmetric actions”, what I didn’t asked it for;
- created at least a few references to below in the text definitions and theorems.
So, I will probably keep going to rewrite the book manually.
