Some propose that advanced AI systems could eventually govern themselves \u2014 acting as judges, voters, or arbitrators over other AI systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This idea is tempting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also structurally flawed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The core problem is not that AI is unintelligent.
